Previous Recruitment Experience

From previous work experiences I have undertaken within a bakery factory, I recall the job recruitment process was made through application forms followed by selected one to one interview with me/candidate and head of HR department. I waited a day for the company to contact me telling me I got the job and shift optional choice then by health and safety course and food hygiene undertaken. This process was not targeted to select candidate as no C.V. was exchanged as most business recruitment policy require one and additional references, such as Thomson and Thomas cook.

  1. Sounds like you have had quite informal interview procedures Jammal. It would have been interesting to have seen your opinions on this. Do you think it works for some jobs? What problems could it lead to in the future?

  2. In my opinion this is a rushed and quick interview which they don't hesitate to question the way they deal of recruitment process as they are constantly recruiting all the time and new employees are leaving after a week or two of work due to the job they might have just undertaken. The HR department might have to keep the advertisement for long period of time due to the the ongoing recruitment process, I would say they are not fussed on who applies for the job as long as they stick to the job for a long time. If they carry on they way they do of recruitment process they this will continue into the future unless they change it.
